All about Sweet woodruff
Sweet woodruff ia a perennial that will grow from 8 to 12 inches tall and is best suited for zones 3 to 9. After the leaves are full and the small white flowers have bloomed, sweet woodruff will give off a vanilla aroma. But don't be fooled, it is never to be taken internally. Sweet woodruff should be spaced 8 to 10 inches apart in your garden in the shade. The uses for it are strictly for arrangements and crafts such as wreaths , sachets, or potpourris.
It is also recommended to keep it out of the reach of children.

Harvesting and drying sweet woodruff
The foliage of sweet woodruff plants can be harvested at any time by simply cutting a few stems from each plant. Hang the stems to dry in a warm part of your house—the scent from the leaves intensifies as the cuttings dry. You can also keep a sprig on the dashboard of your car to have a natural air freshener.
